Children’s Book Week is The CBCA’s key highlight national event of the year and this year celebrates 80 years of Children’s Book Week with the theme of ‘Book an Adventure!’
For eight decades, CBCA has been dedicated to inspiring young minds to journey through the countless worlds that books offer.
While this special event is an excellent way to spotlight and encourage children to read, Edgars stock a huge range of books for young people year-round.
These include picture books, Manga, graphic novels, junior and middle grade chapter books, pre-teen, teen and young adult books, non-fiction, CBCA titles, books for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, autism and ADHD as well as non-fiction books for teachers, educators and parents of students with learning differences.
Additionally, they are your local destination for school textbooks, novels, study guides and stationary.
As the end of the year for our most senior of students draws closer, now is the time to contact Edgars for all your end of year/graduation/prize books.
Lists can be curated for schools and kindergartens by the staff at Edgars and delivered ahead of term four celebrations and breakups.
Schools and their staff are eligible for 20% off all book purchases so there is even more reason to shop local and support local with a visit to Edgars Books & News.
